Because of low turn-out at the last work party, we still have some work to do to get the books ready to ship. Kevin will be at the warehouse from 9 to 12 Saturday, June 15, 2013, to complete this process, and he would appreciate all the help he can get. We need to box books and organize them neatly on 2 1/2 more pallets. Meanwhile, we will need a few people to shrink wrap all the pallets (which is a good project for those aged members of our club who are wary of straining their backs or other parts). Once the books are ready to go, we also need to clear out the 6+ pallets of trash/unusable materials. Anne has arranged for a dumpster to be delivered by Davis Waste Removal gratis (THANK YOU ANNE!!), so we will need to take out the trash on Saturday. Finally, Carolina’s Haiti library project will be picking up their books from the warehouse starting at 10, and may need some help loading their truck.
